eTool Has A CEO

Announcement

We are very excited to see the advancements of Life Cycle Design applied to the construction industry, from consultants adopting the methodology at concept stage and use for regulatory purposes to Green Building rating system using LCA to form part of their scheme core structure, and many other applications. We envisage other opportunities as we continue to grow our presence in Australia and New Zealand. The European office is producing great results and we develop a new market in the Americas.

A few years ago at eTool we identified eToolLCD software as the main revenue driver in the coming years. Pursuing that outcome as well as our many other goals has led to the appointment of a CEO. Co-founders Alex Bruce and Richards Haynes decided that 2017 was the year to make the move and began their search for a CEO.

Of utmost importance was someone with the high ethical standards the rest of us have around here and, of course, a passion for saving the planet. The search led them to Matt Szwedzicki who is a friend and former colleague of both co-founders. He was originally approached to “sense check” the attractiveness off eTool as an investment and had some great positive feedback about the business.

Matt graduated from The University of Western Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Honours) & Bachelor of Commerce. He has worked with some of the country’s biggest companies including Woodside Energy, Origin Energy and Elixir Petroleum where he was Chief Operating Officer. He is also Director of Southwesterley Group, an investment and fund management company.

We are excited to welcome Matt on board and are looking forward to him helping eTool become the mass carbon saving machine we all want it to be.
