Leadership Changes

David Blain is joining eTool as a non-executive director in the UK.  David is a seasoned executive in the tech sector with significant experience developing and managing high-performance teams in sales, service and support. eTool is looking forward to drawing on David’s deep experience to refine business strategy and risk management.

Pat Hermon has resigned as a UK Director and Business Development Manager.  Enquiries will be directed to:

  • Adrian Giles (Business Development Enquiries)
  • Richard Haynes (Technical Enquiries relating to Software and Services)

Business Development

eTool employed a new dedicated Business Development professional for the UK office – Adrian Giles.  Adrian has a vast experience in the construction sector. He is already collaborating with clients and new prospect to continue expanding eTool´s presence in the UK and Europe.

Services and eToolLCD Support Team

eTool are adding two members to the technical staff in the UK.

We recently welcomed Leonardo Poli to the eTool UK Life Cycle Design Services team.  Leonardo is about to receive his MSc Engineering Project Management where he specialised in environmental assessment and became an experienced eToolLCD user.  His dissertation addressed the topic of reuse, recycling, circular economy and its application in the construction industry. Leonardo used LCA to inform the conclusions of the paper.

Marios Tsikos joined the eTool UK Life Cycle Design Services team in January.  He holds an MSc Civil Engineering qualification and bring a strong engineering background with particular skills in LCA, BIM and building services engineering.

Other Changes

eTool have also recently increased the size of our software development team to help accelerate our roadmap.  We will likely be reaching out to all our users soon to help us prioritise the next big feature sets.

  • Co-authoring the first EN15978 compliant LCA in Australia
  • Starting the UK branch of eTool in 2016, supporting the business both commercially and technically
  • Authoring the first eTool LCA for BREEAM
