We have an electricity bill for the shed where is build a structure, with the total usage in kWh.
Is there some way to insert this data in eTool, to account the assembly energy?

Hi Roberto, For operational energy this shouldn’t be a problem except that you won’t know the demand categories. Just enter the energy consumption in under the “other” category so there’s no confusion here. The only other trick would be to convert from kWh to MJ by multiplying by 3.6.

For assembly, there is an equipment choice called “Offsite manufacturing / prefabrication process”. Entering in one hour of run time in here is approximately equivalent to 1kWh of electricity use in Australia. This isn’t extremely accurate, particularly as you can’t choose the electricity grid. Be sure to check how important this is in your whole assessment, if it’s a big item, you’ll need to refine this calculation further (a work around here would be to use a blank design to enter in the exact energy use in the operational energy category and add your calcs up outside of eToolLCD)
